For more than 30 years now Symphony Space has set aside a day to focus at length on a specific composer, artist, era or theme: Wall to Wall, the enduring marathon concept that started with a daylong Bach concert in 1978. In most of these events it can seem as if Symphony Space were attempting to cram an entire voluminous world into 12 hours on a single stage, to varying if nearly always edifying effect.
